NO. It is 100% Free to have your business appear on the app. There are no set up fees or percentages. Explore Local never charges our partners to be listed.

 

Do I have to sign a contract to appear on Explore Local?

No. In fact you can opt out instantly from the app at any time with an email, text or phone call.

You can also make changes to your profile with the same email, text or phone call.

 

Can anyone leave a bad review on Explore Local and hurt my business?

No. Never, as this is counter to our mission of supporting local businesses.

Consumers can utilize the “Tell us how we did” feature and that message will go directly to you, the business owner’s email. It will never be made public. You can then address the issue if it’s less than favorable or post it as a testimonial if it’s praise.

 

If Explore Local does not charge me to appear on the app; what is your business model?

Explore Local is first and foremost an advocacy platform for patronizing local businesses but we are a business too.

We know that our great relationship with our local partners (you) will make us very popular with consumers and with popularity comes attention. That attention will open up avenues for advertising and marketing. We are in this for the long haul and anticipate strong lasting relationships with our merchant partners.
